About WCC

The Wyoming Construction Coalition ( WCC ) is a non-profit association of commercial, industrial and residential contractors and the businesses that supply materials and services to the industry.

WCC members build hundreds of millions of dollars worth of projects in Wyoming every year. Most of our members are involved in the construction of large scale projects, including retail stores, office buildings, hotels, schools and hospitals. Our members employ hundreds of employees that live and work primarily in Wyoming.

What We Do

Government Affairs

WCC is Wyoming’s construction industry activist; we represent our members at the Wyoming Legislature, in agency meetings and with local governments to coordinate efforts that enhance the industry and to stop unreasonable regulations. We work with construction users, public and private, to educate them on industry laws and practices to better ensure a smoother process and a better project. WCC has a powerful grassroots network throughout Wyoming to be sure our members’ voices are heard. Simply put, we are a watchdog, which puts Wyoming first, enhances our industry and protects owners.

Membership in WCC gives you the opportunity to network with construction industry professionals through a variety of meetings, educational programs, networking groups and volunteer activities. We hold membership meetings that provide opportunities for members to network and educate them on the issues that impact our industry, while giving input into the direction of the association.

WCC provides resources to keep Wyoming’s construction industry professionals current with industry events. Our members are informed about legislation, regulations, events and training opportunities so they have the knowledge they need to make informed business decisions In addition, we work with media outlets to communicate the industry’s positions to policy makers, owners, educators, and the public on a wide range of issues.

WCC administers an in-house electrical apprenticeship program for members utilizing the National Center for Career Education and Research (NCCER). Members provide trainers and classroom time, and WCC provides curriculum and manages the paperwork. Utilizing NCCER curriculum, WCC can help you deliver programs that equip your craft professionals with the knowledge and skills they need to improve their productivity and safety, and advance their careers.

Business Development

WCC offers tools to help members develop business opportunities and promote company achievements and capabilities to potential clients. In the digital age, it is vital for businesses to be active online and in social networking. WCC hosts an online member directory along with an annual printed directory and membership roster. Additionally, WCC is active on social networking sites, promoting our members and our industry.

Your Business Partner

The extent to which you, your employees and your business can benefit from membership in WCC is only limited by you. Membership in WCC isn’t simply paying dues, we are member driven, and require our membership to be involved in the association’s activities. The more active our members are in the governance of the association, the better we will be able to provide what you need to succeed.
