WCC President, Josh Carnahan, has been selected to serve on the newly formed Wyoming Construction Safety Alliance (WCSA) Board of Directors. Carnahan joins 15 other representatives from all sectors of construction from throughout Wyoming in serving on the Alliance board.

WCSA was formed as part of a larger effort to address safety concerns in Wyoming, which consistently ranks in the top ten states for on the job fatalities. The WCSA is dedicated to improving the safety culture in the construction industry and is a modeled after a similar alliance that was formed to address safety concerns in the oil and gas industry.

The WCSA Board will be meeting monthly, while the membership will be meeting quarterly.  As the group gets organized, most meetings will be held in Casper. The next WCSA membership meeting will be held in late July. If you have any issues or concerns you would like the WCSA to address, please feel free to contact Josh at joshc@webuildwyoming.org.
